Unique Bronze Sculpture by
Amy Bright Unfried

Sculptor Amy Bright Unfried's work began with traditional realistic human figures, then evolved into small trees with western birds in their branches. In her next period of work, she concentrated on abstract unique bronze sculptures derived from knitting and crochet, utilizing the mathematical form of the Moebius strip. That developed into using crochet to make small bronze boxes. During the Covid pandemic she took to reimagining shabby furniture with creative paint jobs; who knows what her next evolution may turn out to be.  Her work has been exhibited widely since 1991 in galleries and museums across the country and has won many awards.
